Travels
Lake Lucern
A Swiss hillside village, taken from the train.
In December 2006, I was among 80 teachers who were invited to
visit Bernina headquarters in Steckborn, Switzerland.
Bonnie Browning and I traveled to Zurich three days early and
spent some time sight seeing. Here are a few of the people and
places from that trip.
Christmas market in Zurich.
At the Bernina factory.
The Whole Group
With Mr. Ueltschi, President of Bernina International.
Dick and I enjoying a day in Puerto Rico.
A park in Old San Juan.
The harbor in St Thomas.
Arts and crafts for sale in the Dominican Republic.
The beach at Grand Turk; what amazing color.
On the set with Linda Taylor.
Getting ready to tape the program.
Fun, behind the scenes with Linda, Janet Fogg,
Linda McCuean and Janet Santeusanio.
My first teaching venue was in Cork city, County Cork. I loved the painted houses.

One day out was spent exploring Blarney castle.
I photographed this beautiful floor
in the pub where we had lunch.
Approaching Alihies, on the southern coast.
Beryl Cadman, the European Gammill dealer, was my hostess for the mid-part of my visit. Here we are, ready for dinner.

One of many beautiful mosaic designs in the floor of an old church.

In March, 2007, I had the opportunity to tape a second PBS program for Linda's Electric Quilters.
